Over the weekend we spoke at the She Leads Africa event in NYC called #SheHiveNYC where we gave a great workshop on Growing Healthy Natural Hair from our book 'Guide To Growing Long Natural Hair', we also gave away some free samples from our upcoming product line 'Flower Child Curls'. 

She Leads Africa is a community that helps young African women achieve their professional dreams. SheHiveNYC was a 4 days event filled with incredible speakers, touching on topics such as Building a career in Journalism with Vanessa De Luca (Editor-In-Chief, Essence). Building a Tech Business with Adiat Disu Asmau Ahmed (Founder, PlumPerfect). Style and Beauty with Kanayo Edi (Celebrity Stylist), Building a Cosmopolitan Career with Bisila Bokoko (Founder & CEO of BBES) and many more.

Our workshop touched on different ways to identify and fix damaged natural hair, DIY recipes, product differentiation and easy tips that encourages hair growth boost. As a woman It was very empowering to be surrounded by so many supportive, beautiful, intelligent women, who were also filled with pure positivity. Don't worry if you missed this workshop you can pick up a copy of our book HERE on our website or HERE on Amazon or you can download our EBook HERE.
